We may not have to be the police of the world, but it IS our burden to make sure that no nation can out fight us. From WW2 to now, how many instances have there been that had we acted the weak sister, we would have been overcome? I can think of several. It is time to let Karsai suck on a tailpipe, and the Pakistan leadership stand on a box before it's hanging. Stop sending money all over the world to countries that can never appreciate the USA, and we will have the money for a newer stronger yet fast moving military that CAN help those truly in need, including ourselves. Of course the problem always goes back to the basics. Even though I did not like his politics overall, remember Democrat Charlie Wilson? After using USA money and several countries for support in getting weapons to the Afghani's to drive Russia out of Afghanistan, Wilson later said...we f***** up the end game....... we have to stop effing up the end game.
