As an addendum to the previous post, it is now clear that the market reaction in Taiwan is in response to the large defeat of the Koumintang Party in the island-wide local elections, and not anything directly related to any new economic disaster. That should ameliorate Wall Street's response a bit.

Jess: I think that the bottom will be within view once the BTB will have actually declined below 1, which I still expect. That is when everyone will finally accept that there might be over capacity in the market and people will start and paint "doom and gloom" scenarios. When the doom and gloom is accepted by everyone will be the time to see the silver line on the horizon.
