Document imaging business will be pushed on the financial services firms as they continue to look for earnings. While most financial services will add land developments to their portfolios; they must cut down paper work processing cost. Head counts will come down further to achieve more efficiencies and put savings to work for more investment as well as more growth. Growth will come from knowledge management which is part of document imaging software and hardware.

Just came back from Microsoft and Sales management conferences in Haynes Auditorium. The sale management, contact manager, and other software all have improved. But market research and Powerpoint selling pitch has not been implimented yet. Maybe soon. But what is available, is enough to propel the document imaging business next year.

After next year, we will see how STRR have consolidated and vertically integrated. This is not the time for STRR to sit back to work out the profits on operations. It is the time to buy into the document and imaging businesses and to sell off the surplus. To accomodated the changing business directions with readiness, buy and sell to become a large cap business. The window of opportunity is not profits in operations but the advancement of technology which enlarges the market.
