I don't disagree with you Chinu that Americans do that but is it right?

Barack has been adding "economic patriotism" to his stump...Have you heard him using this term? I'm not sure what his intent and meaning is. When I heard it, I thought of how unpatriotic it is for an American company to farm jobs overseas knowing, full well, the devastation it will have on his or her fellow Americans...principally(sp), the middle class...These folk aren't stupid. They pay people to create models of short and long term impacts of their business plan decisions....

Many people cannot train to do the sophisticated stuff coming out of Silicon Valley et. al...In my world, we'd beef up education in the sciences so that those 3 million jobs(Clinton estimate) that Americans are not qualified for at this time can fill them in the next few years....And, ramp up manufacturing of things that are currently being done in China. This Mac laptop would be a good start by our most valuable company in the country....Ya know?

I no longer buy this "we need to remain competitive excuse. If American multinational companies, across the board agreed to this, profits would remain even amongst them.....Thinking out loud here.

I'm glad to have some time to hang out with you guys right now and bounce these ideas....

What Romney did is what many Americans do. They have a right to do so in the US capitalist system. What I do not agree with is for Romney to claim that because he succeeded there he will also succeed as President. THe skill set required of a President to create jobs is very very different that someone like Romney to create the jobs he created since the factors in the two situations are different. The American people have realized that and the recent polls on who best could handle the economy is showing that.

An example: the auto industry. Two diametrically opposite approaches by Romney and Obama. And Obama proved to be right. The folks from MI and OH agree.
