St. John is lovely. St. Thomas is wretched.

Approx 40-50 years ago SEALS/UDT and SF did their Scuba training there.

Been to both liked both. St John was much less developed.

In the old days, there was a place named "Lime Tree Resort" on St. Thomas that was very nice, very reasonable, and all fun. Took my wife there for 10 days of our honeymoon. Spent the other 10 days at the outer banks…starting on Ocracoke, where we got married.
