I think there's still a lot of racism in America, but I'm proud there wasn't enough to keep Obama from getting elected, and it's looking like, even with all the racists fully awake and energized, there won't be enough to keep him from being re-elected, even now when we know he's just a regular mixed-race man doing his best. I agree. The racism still exists, but its power has been diminished. It's a good thing. It's quite probable that most of the people who are racists and opposed to Obama wouldn't support him in any case, simply because he's a Democrat.
