Er...uh...ummm..."Plead the 5th"? :)

Let's just say it "might have been on" a few times. Stations and choices were pretty limited. Daughters were little. ;-)

Yes, back in the day it was pretty popular. In the beginning no one thought it would be though. A show about young school girls in uniforms? No way. But they beat the odds and were on for a few years. Now its still on cable channels like TVLand so the younger survivors have a chance to watch.

Once a guy had a comedy routine where he would act like he was having trouble remembering something and ask the audience what the name of the little black girl on The Facts of Life was. In an instance dozens would yell, Tootie! He would then quickly ask them who the Secretary of State was? Dead silence.
