and we have 'libertarians' supporting google cars here? astounding it's a new enough concept that I don't think everyone has figured out the ramifications. A big part of it is that is, in order for driverless cars to be viable, they will have to process an incredible amount of information about our travels. To be safe, everyone will have to be in an automated vehicle. Otherwise there are just too many variables. So for the greater good, due to technological and safety requirements, everyone will have to go driverless.
