Thanks for the update Stag! Yes, Kp=7 the other day, a surprise for an otherwise quiet late summer for solar flares and sunspots, especially for being near solar maximum.

The flare did precede the wave-up yesterday. It's pretty amazing you noted the "interaction"...statistically speaking, I don't know what it is, but something is there...you are very observant!
