Ok, here's my POV on autonomous cars. Even though google is developing it, I think it might be something that stays. And google wouldn't be the only ones making these systems. The fact is most of us here ride in autonomous vehicles quite often, they're just called airlines with autopilots.

Oh, I'm sure that google won't be the only enterprise doing it. But again, I do think that there are technical issues when you get into crowded driving situations. The skies are relatively empty compared to the los angeles or denver streets and freeways. On crowded corridors, I believe that it will be necessary to segregate driverless and driverful cars.

so, as I said in a previous message, the travel corridor will need to be controlled for it to be practical. That has implications.
