In six months that's about 65 pounds, if you average 2.5 pounds per week for 26 weeks. Like you, I had reservations at first, but the weight comes off steadily and consistently. I honestly did not feel like I was on a diet, especially since I cheated once a week. LOL! I started in early February and I am now 80 pounds lighter, but one must allow for the passage of time. In retrospect, the time went by very quickly. Today, I am quite content that I am in the exact middle of my ideal BMI for my height. I went from a size 42 waist (very tight) to a size 34 (very loose). I could probably wear a size 32 waist comfortably now. The good part about Medifast is that one eats constantly, about every 2 to 3 hours. One eats six meals a day on the plan; five Medifast meals and one personalized "lean and green" that you make yourself. A small healthy snack is also permitted. Exercise is not required, although I exercised six days a week because I enjoy riding my bike. I know several women who lost between 250 and 300 pounds on the plan. If you desire to know more, please PM me. I'm not trying to sell you anything and I have absolutely no financial interest in the company or its products. I'm just sharing my own personal success story since the subject came up, but my success story is actually quite modest compared to many others whom I know. I do not mean to imply that Medifast is the say all-end all solution to chronic weight problems. There are many ways to lose weight, but this way worked best for me, with little effort or pain. I am now in the maintenance phase of the program, which is for life. I now return you to your regularly scheduled currency market b*tchfest! -vbg- Fu¢k Bernanke and his fiat clownbuck masters! -nfg-
