They both want to restrict freedoms and dictate others behaviors. I DON'T believe that women shouldn't be allowed to do whatever they want with their own bodies. I think the most astute comment I've heard about many of today's conservatives is that they believe "life begins at conception" It is easy to agree with that. It takes a particularly inhumane person to think that the mother can behave as immorally is she chooses without accruing consequences. While it is true that STDs are part of the consequences, the miracle of conception may be as well. People need to accept responsibility for their actions. Your next several rants all echos the mantra of FREEDOM. Thus whether you choose to accept it or not, you are a honorary Tea Party member. You should have the freedom to do things that are harmful to you without government trying to protect you from the 'evils' of smoking and drinking. Leave us ALL alone and start paying the country's DEBTS. Again, you echo the primary opinion that unites Tea Party members. The problem is that neither of the duopolistic political parties in this country is on board with us. The higher likelihood of influence within either caucus is in the Republican Party. Whether you want to accept it or not you are no longer a democrat, you are a coat tails Republican, just like so many other libertarians.
