I do have a quart of agave ultimately destined for yogurt...

My doc agreed with my approach - eat less but more often and don't deprive yourself. I weigh in every day - which most diets say you are not supposed to do. But I have instant feedback from my diet when I weigh more often and can nip a trend in the bud if I start gaining.

I was shooting for 200 by the end of the year but I'll never make it at this rate. No pressure... if it takes a year or two more to get down to my healthy weight, that is ok. It took me a lifetime to get to where I was at almost 300 lbs so a little extra time is ok.

And they are right when they say you feel better and have much more energy at a lower weight.

And thank you for all your recipes!
