Jim, 90%? That's a joke. Too many ways around it. I'm surprised by the number of people who think a 90% top tax rate is even remotely practical. Tenchusatsu

I was just saying, if you are going to tax the rich, tax the rich. Hard to do that when they can hide money in foundations trusts etc. You were saying charitable foundations, not trusts. And charitable foundations are a good thing... I could prove the good they've done if I wanted to take the time. And foundations are transparent, they're not "hiding" their money. Accounts in the Caymans? That's hiding their money. Barking wrong tree Jim. The rich giving away their money is good.
