After all, who the heck is going to pay themselves that much when such a punitive tax is applied? A lot fewer. And what happens to that money if its not paid to the 1%? It's either reinvested in the economy or goes to the wages of the 99%. At what point does a high income tax become less about revenue and more about punishment? Do you even get that concept? Every single tax law has winners and losers. Every single tax law is redistribution. It's about building a more effective society, not about "punishment". Social engineering is in every element of tax law by definition. But it's amusing seeing you victimize the 1%.
