BTW did you notice the auto companies had their best year in 4 last month. Another sad fail of this economy. Damn Bernanke for creating cheap money and encouraging people to buy.

He's the most "dangerous man in the world". Making all those people buy cars. Keeping people employed after the financial crisis, when we should be paying our "austerity dues".

They had a guy on NPR the other day, had researched financial induced recessions for like 400 years back. He said they were always much deeper than this, and that they lasted between 10 and 20 years.

So far I think Bernanke and Obama are doing a fine job... if things really start up we'll see how well they manage that part.

BTW did you notice the auto companies had their best year in 4 last month.
Part of that is because government purchases of GM cars rose by 79% year-over-year.

Might want to batten down the hatches after election day no matter who wins.
