And don't forget economies of scale. Costs per customer decline as the number of customers increases.

Linear is most conservative....and the bets and price of the issue must be based on exponential as you suggest.

Are you up to predicting revs at 2002, the 5 year frame everyones talking about? I wouldn't hold you to it, but you must have an educated hypothetical anyway.

And do you think they are up to the 4 cent loss this quarter....I'm thinking that Checkfree has payed out 10 Million to Intuit in early October for Exclusive Licensing, which could tweek things the wrong way this Q.

Also....I want to correct my earlier post....Checkfree stated in the comments at year end that they back the Analysts Estimates that they breakeven in 3rd Q, which would be ending March 31, 1998, with Profits beginning in 4th Q. So if everybodies right this is our last Negative Quarter.......~from my files~....so double everything in my 10 year linear. Still is way too conservative, IMO, for MircoSoft.

Must be some large expectations on this segment....look at the people, (companies), that are showing up for this party.
