Ha! As you know, I am Catholic, but I have many Jewish and Muslim friends. When I was newly out of MBA school many years ago, I lived with some Jewish friends. Every Christmas, we'd have a celebration that was half Jewish half Christian. I also fasted with them for Yom Kippur. It was fun for me. I like learning about other religions and cultures. Doesn't make me Jewish, though. I suspect that Obama, being another man of intellect, has a natural curiosity and appreciation for things that are different from his own experiences. The world would be a very boring place, if everyone believed exactly the same things. I'm glad that the Obamas have brought a multi-cultural element to the White House and to D.C. I hope that they also continue to appreciate how visionary and important our Constitution is and how the religious men who created it, also believed passionately in a separation of Church and State, so as to enable Freedom of Religion for everyone who comes to this country.
