I turned in on for a few minutes midway and without a doubt Mitt was in command while O looked uncomfortable, not confident, and out of place. O provided his usual flood of disturbing errrs and umms whenever forced to speak in a high profile forum without a script.

I don't go to bed early.........I just don't watch them. IMO debates are a very artificial way to determine whether you will vote for someone or not.

It is unfortunate, but at this stage, for the undecided people in the middle, substance is a casualty of style. By that measure, Romney outshone the president at this debate.


There was a very similar reaction after the Obama/Clinton first debate except it was Clinton in Romney's position.
