Do you have a lot of Prius's out your way yet? They are everywhere down here now..I even got one but the battery technology is far more advanced than the 2012 regular Prius still running off the mid 2000's technology. The new plug in finally has a small Lithium battery but even then it isn't close to being a regular extended range electric going at most 13-15 miles under 62 mph. . Still incredible gas mileage on both quite functional and easy to adapt to..
