Every president say's God Bless the US at least a 1000 times a year.... A pledge has nothing to do with a god...... Why do school children have to say the pledge every day? Is it only good for 24 hours??? Except for weekends of course... And btw, when I was in school we had to recite the Lord's Prayer everyday......but the Catholic kids stopped short of saying the longer Protestant version.... It was amusing to hear the sudden drop off in volume in the classroom ....
