First of all, call me Tom. Secondly, my firm would charge you $170/hr for me to do as you ask. I have said before that Mr. Brasington is more than qualified to draft our news releases in the future. I was ecstatic that he wrote the most recent one. As I understand it, after his first draft, the lawyers "fine-tuned" it to ensure that any "up-beat" language was rightfully toned down -- typical practice for any ethical corporation. I think we're on the write track concerning the "scrawling" of news releases.

However, overall communications strategies are what deserve sound counsel.

One last point, I laughed out loud when you wrote "... will stimulate the highest responses in the current pack of language lawyers and force them into quick compliance ..." I'm not a lobbyist or an expert on grassroots efforts, and I sure as hell don't know what it takes to motivate a lawyer besides money and power. I have neither, but thanks for the suggestion.

Regards.
