With so many Kurds in Syria on the fence about who to support and what ousting Bashar would mean for them, better or worse or no difference, it's not a surprise things are heating up on the border. Turkey has done things to help those fighting against Bashar, so it's not surprising in that regard that Bashar wants to back them off. There was an enormous rally in Turkey last night against any further action against Syria.

I dunno. It has potential to worsen.

What has me really worried is that China and Russia......esp Russia.......are standing behind Bashar very strongly. Bashar is one of Russia's best weapons customer and they want to keep it that way. All this coupled with Turkey's issues makes Syria and its problems very dangerous.
