You're misleading this board.

It's what he does. No intellectual honesty. Put him on ignore... dealing with fakers is a pure waste of time and energy, which are finite resources. If someone has an honest rebuttal, yes it's worth the time and energy... They might be right, you might be wrong.

SrK, take the statistic for what it's worth. Government sales may be only 5% of total sales, but if you do the math, a jump in 79% translates to about a 2% bump in total sales. Not too shabby.

Like I said, it's not unreasonable when you consider the drastic budget cutting that happened prior to this year. Probably a lot of replacement purchases that had to be put off until now.

But this sort of stuff ALWAYS happens in an election year. Government at all levels boosts spending to make the incumbents look good.

Obama happens to be the incumbent this year. He's going around saying that he saved the American auto industry (even though Ford said no to bailout money). So why not look at all the ways government is boosting GM? The jump in purchases is one thing. The big Volt rebate is another.
