All my eduction and life experiences tell me Ayn Rand was nothing but a sociopathic charlatan and basically wrong about everything. How can she be right when the thesis of her philosophy denigrates the most important concept we humans have ever discovered. The understanding of simple kindness and compassion?? Greed isn't good. Egoism isn't good. Kindness and compassion is good!! <<Koan, I personally am not a full believer in Ayn Rand, since there are some things in life that defy rational thinking but are still worth upholding, such as faith and willful self-sacrifice. But I don't see any value in misrepresenting what she said and what she believed in. Nor do I see any use in declaring the "logical" and "scientific" high ground without providing any rational arguments in support. Obviously you do, and people like Ayn Rand can explain why.
