I found the Nakano red pepper vinegar on Amazon.

The company is Japanese with a US corporate presence. They seem to have bought some US brands like Angostura and Holland House. The photo of the vinegar bottle suggests it was made in the US.

I find it at a store called Food Lion. Also when Albertson's was in business...... I have written the management of local Walmart to include RED PEPPER in their line of Nakano vinegars... Also I have asked the manager of
the local Ingles to stock it along with his other Nakano vinegars. I think the name scares those who are afraid of hot foods...spices etc.

Publix in Florida carries it.. However prices do vary. I have purchased it for as little as $ 2.50 and as high
as $ 3.75.. Food Lion's has been the least expensive.

Good luck in your pursuit of a great dressing.....
