There are no errors in my post. Bernanke would remain a member, but he would NOT be Chairman, unless the sitting President re-appointed him. Romney would have the power to appoint someone else, should he choose to.

Asking me whether Bernanke would seek another term or not is silly. The many is the peak of arrogance. If he were a humble man, then he would not believe that he alone is smarter than the confluence of millions of market participants making decisions on risk and reward. Instead, he honestly believes he alone is smart enough to set not only the market price of Treasuries, but of MBS, and of the stock market itself. He has massively distorted the price discovery mechanism of all of our major markets.

So asking whether he will want to be Chairman again is a silly question. He doesn't know how to bow out of the position. His megalomania knows no bounds.
