Only for the stock launcher. Everything else works just fine landscape or portrait. But you can get an app like Ultimate Rotation Control that will do it for you even for the stock launcher, or you can use any of the free launchers out there like Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher or others, which have landscape plus many other features. But now with 4.1.2 even the stock launcher has it.
