Have you noticed that as these "conservative" Californians have moved to Oregon, Nevada, etc., that those states have been moving left, left, left! It's been happening in Oregon for decades, and now, Oregon is more liberal than CA in many ways. True, the other states have a word for it..... It's called being Californicated. As you observed, conservative seems to have a different meaning when applied to people from California... These people move to other states and end up voting for the same things that destroyed California......

Oregon is more liberal than CA in many ways. You are so right..... I was returning from Washington and stopped for gas in Oregon,,,,,, the clerk that came running out of the station when I started to pump my own gas told me all I need to know about Oregon....... It's already and nanny state where they don't even allow you to pump your own gas....... Hey, I hear it's ok to walk around Eugene butt naked.... Just bring a towel if you plan to eat at a restaurant......<g>

True. Another downside is that the natives of the recipient states resent that Californians drive up the price of real estate. This has been going on since I was a teenager. You can't blame either group. But I think you can blame the leftists.
