John, Imagine the reaction if half the people back then said their goal was make GWB a one term president? Perhaps you missed the inauguration of George W. Bush when so many protesters held up signs saying, "Not MY President!" After 9/11, that subsided for a while, but then after the "Axis of Evil" speech, the partisanship came roaring back. I'll never forget Hillary shamelessly holding up the headline "Bush Knew" on the Senate floor just six months after 9/11 and asking with a straight face, "My constituents would like to know."
