Additionally, the infrastructure was decaying, and jobs were being eliminated due to robotics and computerization. There were/are displaced workers without the skills to fill these numerous high skilled jobs. Consequently, the principles of capitalization sent corporation moving to the countries where capitalization principles of "maximizing the profits for the stockholders," works. Naturally, the current administration, Obama, and his advisors had to plug the financial and other hemorrhage by "priming the pump" to keep the US from going into a depression. Inflation, economically, at times is the best of two evils during any economic collapse if there is a choice only between the two judgements. Do we really want rebellions like what is taking place in Greece where there many be killings and rioting in the streets and possible terrorism impacting the US. I think not! Others may say, "Bring it on!!!" However, those expressing such a vision have no idea what type of violence can result when individuals existence is based on where, "the law of jungle prevails." Even my town of approximately 30 K has seen a tremendous jump of crime. Just think what can occur in larger metro areas! We have to remember that within a technological information age many unemployed individuals will never be re-employed regardless of who is President, since their skill sets are obsolete, they do not have the financial resources to obtain or update their skill sets, and/or are just to old to perform heavy labor. Others I see have tried to play it safe with their money in CD's and are using their principal to live, while others who are invested in the market have made tremendous amounts off the markets. PS Did any of those on this site see "PBS Frontline," last night, 8-10 pm, CST, comparing OBama's upbringing with Romney's? It was a real contrast. If some saw the showing what was your thoughts of the TV production? You might be able to see the program on the computer.
