When this guy you describe decides to become the most powerful man on earth by running for the Presidency of the USA, CIC of the most powerful military the world has ever known and in complete control of 5000 Nukes, his beliefs, all of them, on on the table, particularly if he says his religion is the most or nearly most important belief in his life and shows it by being a Bishop of his religion. I generally treat religious beliefs as very personal in most other matters, political or otherwise, but certainly not when the Presidency with its vast powers is involved. A recent reading of "Drift" shows just how much power the presidency now has to use the military and its weapons with less and less Congressional approval. You should read it.
