Al Gore and his advisors were happy that President Bush 43 was elected and dealing with the aftermath of 9/11. They knew that President Bush was much more effective than Gore ever could have been. I shudder to think of just how incompetently the War On Terror would have been prosecuted. Probably rather than pursuing the evil ones Gore would have organized just enough overseas contingencies operations to try to abate the negative public opinion of his incompetence. Maybe he would have blown up another aspirin factory in Sudan like his boss did when he got into a real public relations nightmare. Obviously we would have never caught Obama Bin Laden if Gore had been President.
