Today's spot price means little to the drillers flow of work. What is the futures price of oil 2-5 years forward...??? That is the price oil companies are using to plan these offshore projects.

Crude prices that far out are little affected by the gyrations of day to day news.

Now, I'm really leaving.

Things look bad now, but investors have short memories, Techs are up now, but were selling off like crazy a few weeks ago, when they start selling them 2 wks from now everyone will be moving back to the drillers/services...The funny thing is all those who are selling today and in a state of panic...their charts will suddenly turn up and then they start buying ...follow the herd mentality. This how the big traders move the mkt, in and out of sectors. Mark my words...everyone will be singing a different tune next week. And another one bites the dust.
