True, but Cisco's 12000 series router allows carriers/ISP's to maintain a single-software architecture within their network. This feature has allowed CSCO to slow the IP switching threat from COMS and ASND.

I will say Compatibility and Reliablity is #1 and #2, speed is #3 and price is #4 for both LAN and WAN network products.
