Don, I don't participate extensively in these discussions, spending more time lurking than posting. However, I have found most of them to be very helpful and informative regarding the tactical, methodological, strategic, psychological and philosophical aspects of trading. (Steve claims not to enjoy the philosophical aspects, but it is peppered though out his posts ;^)>..) Steve has been instrumental in keeping these on track. These discussions have progressed with very little animosity. Read this entire thread. Your caustic comments are a definite excursion from the intent and history of the thread. A consistent return of 1% per day is to be applauded. Definitely 99th percentile. Congratulations. Don't be upset if people are dubious. The net is a great place to live in a fantasy world. Many people actually LIE under the wonderfully anonymous world of the net. Since returns of this magnitude are the goal of most of the people reading this thread, here is their fantasy they are reading about. Ding. That tends to set off alarms. As for the latest message: Only $100K? How much do you have investment of YOUR MONEY?? not your firms?? For a person that has listed Retired-Young as occupation and age 43 on your profile, expressing surprise at the "Only $100k" comment surprises me. How can a 43 year old early retiree consider $100k a substantial investment? Ira Sorry to all in advance for my challenging comments.
