I'm surprised Memphis isn't on it.

If they did a list of small towns ours would be on it. We're having murders in our town of ~40K on a weekly basis now, something that just didn't happen 20 years ago.

<<I'm kind of surprised Chicago didn't make the list.>>

That's because the people doing the survey didn't come out alive.

Ok, I have to admit that I love France now. There is a carnival in town, here in Bordeaux. We were walking around and we saw what looked like shotguns at one of the carnival shooting gallery games. And there were tons of empty shotgun shells and broken clay pigeons. My boss and I looked at each other and said "NFW!!"

We paid the 10Euro each for 8 shots. OK, so they were very light loads and who knows what was actually being shot out of the barrel, but those clay pigeons absolutely shattered when hit. They had another booth where they had .22s for the shooting gallery. (this isn't me, BTW. I have much more grey hair).

They also had these cool inflatable balls that could go on the water

And chocolate dipped churros and fresh chocolate crepes (my favorite!)
