My Younger son goes to the University of Richmond/Robins school of business. beautiful campus, we always do civil war stuff with him when we visit. check them out

Younger son texts 4000 a month. Good thing we are on the unlimited plan. Your son sounds like a fine young man. He would probably like UVA better than W&M. Cville is much more fun than Williamsburg. Lots of activities, athletic, cultural, etc. Don't know much about W&L. University of Richmond is good, too. Richmond is fun. Lots of Civil War around Richmond. If he wants to study history, I think the W&M history department might be better.
