I used to work from home, so I had my own computer and was connected to the Internet back when one measured connections in bauds. And communicated using Unix.

My first computer had a 40 megabite hard drive. My dad gave me a Rolex when I graduated from law school and I gave it back and asked for a computer.

Every time I upgraded my computer I gave the old one to the kids. They were using it to play Sesame Street games before they could read.

They both taught themselves to read before they turned four. I credit Sesame Street.

Which, by the way, is currently controversial in the US. Romney wants to get rid of public funding for PBS, Public Broadcast System, and Big Bird is the poster child of PBS. Poster bird, I guess. Sesame Street makes tons of money, by the way. It doesn't need public funding.

I do like PBS, but mostly for BBC shows, and now that we get BBC on cable, I can watch Jane Austen on that, or Netflix.
