So funny you note this.. Just finished a great book Talent is Over Rated. Was shocked to learn that practice, practice, practice is the single most important factor in success. According to this author and his many studies, the old notion of being born smart or talented is hog-wash. Nearly anyone can reach the highest levels of any calling if they commit to serious study and practice... (Most don't or won't) It's all about the teacher, the time at it and the incremental improvements. His sections on Jerry Rice (NFL) and Tiger Woods were true eye openers. Great read/listen. As with trading... finding a system that works and sticking with it sure seems to be the most direct way to long term success. google.com
