What does that mean? It means that at some point lowering taxes only leads to larger deficits, particularly when the nation is unable or unwilling to lower costs. The basic precepts of behavioral science stop working when the rich get too rich? Can you enlighten me on just how that happens? The basic precepts of economic commonsense tells us that when the rich are already very rich more money won't cause them to create more jobs...only demand does that... Are you under the mistaken impression that the wealthy being wealthy somehow prevents the poor from being better off than they otherwise would have been? Of course...wealth is a zero sum game.
