Well, there's also the fact that the EU has prohibited trading 'naked' CDS on sovereign bonds, a really good indicator of where things stand.

I don't know that the debate did much.

How is it being perceived in your corner of the world?

I think the election is going to be super-close with an outside possibility of a tie in the Electoral College, meaning that the issue is decided in the House, which means Romney wins.

A tie would mean serious market turmoil for a long time. I may take some stuff off the table if things looks as close at voting time as they appear now.
