How does this, in any way, suggest the existence of an "economic pie"[blockquoteis zero sum in nature? Because it took money out of the hands of a lot of smaller shopkeepers and concentrated it into the hands of far fewer people, in addition to cutting prices. If your theories were true, they'd still be in business instead of going bankrupt. Do you know what single population are the biggest chunk of Medicaid recipients in any give state, outside of people in nursing homes? Walmart employees. So our tax dollars go to provide Walmart's health plan for the majority of its employees.
