Whatever marginal help President Obama got from Candy Crowley’s wrong-headed intervention re Libya will dissipate in the morning air, as the stenographers in the MSM contemplate the question: If Obama knew it was terrorism on Day Two, then why did his administration continue to blame the video for days afterward? Amusing to see CNN rush to her defense by quoting, out of context, the president’s reference to “terror,” but such Clintonian legalistic parsing won’t wash once the parade of contradictory TV clips starts appearing on blogs, in YouTube ads and on Fox tomorrow. Context is everything, and Obama’s “terror” reference clearly was CYA boilerplate that had nothing to do with the substance of his remarks. Obama got saved by the bell last night — and Romney blew the obvious retort, a twofer that would have floored both his adversaries with one punch — but the cold light of day will not be kind to the president. Anybody staking out Jay Carney and Susan Rice right about now? And if not — why not? Say . . . is that a bus I hear approaching nationalreview.com

Have you seen CNN's LOW Journalistic Standards these days? The only thing lower are the disgraceful Journalistic Standards at MSNBC. (Rev Al Charlatan and Thrill-Up-Leg Mathews epitomizes them!!) That is why FOX routinely has more Viewers than those 2 Combined. Both are Left wing operations with obvious liberal Agendas! They too often get it wrong or blatantly follow the Obama Talking Points. Kinda like the NYT and the Wash Post. Disgraceful Journalists all...
