PMs biggest friend and markets biggest threat is Obama. I am becoming more and more convinced he will take the country over the fiscal cliff. Both the PMs and the stock market are not discounting this. My thinking is as follows:
Obama insists on increasing taxes on $250k earners, rejecting Congress proposal to temporily extend tax cuts to all until plan is worked out in 2013. I think he will do this whether he wins (his thinking cliff will be temporary and he can enact his own plan in 2013) or loses (guided by class warfare over free marketss) . It will be his final legacy
