If everyone paid their fair share I would accept higher taxes. Even those that earned $1 should pay the same rate as millionaires on their earnings, no exemptions, no refundable credits, no government welfare.

We have the most bloated government at any time in our nation's history. The government does not know how to judicially spend our tax dollars.

Mitt Romney, while paying approx. a 15% tax rate, also gives considerably to charities. Last year, he "kept" 40% of his earnings and gave away 60% to the federal government and various charities.

Who do you think will have more of an impact helping other people, the charities that were recipients of those funds, or the government, if he had been "forced" to give more?
