Obama's firewall is Ohio, Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. Except that Ohio and Nevada are mining states and whether it's coal or not, miners hate Obama. And if miners hate Obama, all of their family members hate Obama. And all of the people in supporting industries also hate Obama. And all of the family members of the people in the supporting industries hate Obama. Four years ago the UMWA website was emblazoned with "vote Obama". We are three weeks away from the election and the miner's union isn't saying a peep about the election. No endorsement for Obama in 2012. and in Nevada's case, let's not forget Obama's attacks on the tourism business in Las Vegas. Do you remember that? Probably not. However, the residents of Nevada are going to remember the fact that Obama took shots at their bread and butter as a way to score touchy feelie political points.
