You get --- surprise! -- an "A." Seriously, now. I started this thread, basically, in order to "flame" frequent SI errors that were irritating me so much that I could not take seriously the posts that contained them. It would be both impolite and pedantic to send snippy messages to the perpetrators of said errors. Hence this thread, where errors can be excoriated without fear of hurting anyone's feelings. I suspected I might end up just talking to myself, so I am happy to see some responses. By the way, re your reference to "the proper use of 'than' and which,'" is that a typo? Do you really mean the proper use of 'that' and 'which'? If not, can you give an example? jbe
