Richard: I don't know the per acre cost for magnetic surveys but it looks like the one they have covers about 75 acres.

I believe Maxam is in the process for applying for a permit from the BLM to cover more ground than is currently covered by the 5-acre mining notice. I think I recall they were talking about 80 acres.

Maybe the acreage covered by the magnetic survey was chosen to correspond with the acreage they plan to initially mine?
