TJ, the required minimum withdrawal (RMD) for US retirement accounts is actuarially calculated, based on the person's age. With $100K in the retirement account (at previous year-end)...

At age 71 the RMD is $3,773.58
At age 81 the RMD is $5,586.59
At age 91 the RMD is $9,259.26

etc.
